Brunos Entertainments started on September 20th 1979 by Paul Brunt at the age of 16.

Back in those day's there were no such thing as CD Players, everything was on vinyl, even the twin turntables had no deck starts we had to cue the record in then lift the arm releasing it when ready to play.

Disco lighting I had consisted of 2 rotating Police lights 2 pair of Fal decor boxes 2 banks of three spotlights which all linked together and would flash to the beat of the music and a strobe light, this was all considered a huge mobile disco setup and cost me £400 quite a lot of money considering the average weekly take home pay was £21.50 when I worked at Treat Products an Ice Cream company based in Ecclesfield Sheffield.

First regular venue I had was The Liberal Cub High Green (now called Pickwicks) regular Monday nights fee I got was £8.50 private parties used to bring in £21.50 amazing one gig on a Saturday equalled my weeks wage, however I always invested back in the business and still do nearly 30 years on

We have always used top quality equipment and never use inferior cheap quality products.

You will never see equipment we use sold in normal high street shops our sound equipment is up there with the best around consisting of Dynacord powermate desks considered the Rolls Royce of Powered Mixers, Electro Voice Speakers along with other Top Brand names such as JBL Yamaha and Peavey

Our lighting consists of expensive intelligent scanners that dmx together, along with the latest in technology of the best L.E.D lighting around and the latest Cluster Lasers which give a stunning effect.

All the above coupled with our experienced DJs and KJs who know their music will lead to a memorable nights entertainment.
